No shortage of drinking water in Gadhimai fair: Minister Yadav

Bara, 19 Oct 2024: Minister for Drinking Water Pradeep Kumar Yadav has assured that there would be no shortage of food and water at  the Gadhimai fair.

Addressing a programme organized today on the Gadhimai temple premises after on-site inspection of the preparations for the Gadhimai fair, he said that there will be no shortage of clean drinking water, accessible toilets and sanitation services for the devotees coming to the fair.

Minister Yadav expressed his commitment to arrange deep boring in some places and provide some mobile toilets by mobilizing the fair management committee in case of insufficient water supply from the 'overhead tank'.

"Discussions are being held with the provincial government, donors and supporting organizations to prevent shortage of clean drinking water", he added.
