Three recommended as Supreme Court Justice

Kathmandu, 10 June 2025: The Judicial Council has recommended the names of three individuals for the post of Supreme Court Justice.

Those recommended as the Supreme Court justices are Senior Advocate Meghraj Pokharel, Chief Judge of the High Court, Janakpur, Shrikant Poudel, and Chief Judge of the High Court, Dipayal, Shantisingh Thapa.

According to Judicial Council spokesperson Ashok Kumar Chhetri, the council's meeting on Monday had recommended the names of three justices to the Supreme Court.
