Shram Sanskriti Party leads in Dhankuta

Dhankuta, 6 March 2026: The candidate of Shram Sanskriti Party has led the vote count in Dhankuta district under the first-past-the-post electoral system as per the latest result.

Candidate of Shram Sanskriti Party San Bahadur Rai has obtained 3,972 votes leading the race, while his nearest rival Rajendra Kumar Rai of CPN (UML) has got 3,705 votes, District Election Officer Harish Chandra Ingnam said. The vote difference between the two candidates is 167. 

Dinesh Rai of Nepali Congress has stood third with 2,238 votes in the ongoing vote count.
