Vote count begins in Bajura

Bajura, 6 March 2026: The vote count for the House of Representatives election has begun in Bajura district.

An all-party meeting held this evening forwarded the vote count from 7:00pm, according to chief election officer Sanjiv Pokharel. 

The ballot boxes were collected from 118 voting centres at the counting centre. The district witnessed 51.66 percent voter turnout. There were 87,861 voters listed for the election.

The district having a single constituency has eight candidates in fray- seven from political parties and one independent.
